How to Estimate Your Weekly 19L Water Bottle Requirements
A step-by-step method to estimate how many 19L water bottles your home, shop or office needs each week, with a litres-to-bottles table and a one-week check.
For a household of 2, one 19L bottle may last roughly 5 to 9 days. For a household of 5, roughly 2 to 4 days. These are estimates, not guarantees, because cooking, weather and habits change the real number.

A 19 litre bottle holds the same amount of water in every home, but homes use it very differently. What changes the duration:
| Household | Estimated consumption | Approximate duration of one 19L bottle |
|---|---|---|
| 2 people | 2-4 litres/day | 5-9 days |
| 5 people | 5-8 litres/day | 2-4 days |
These figures are estimates to help you plan. Your own household may use more or less.
Duration is simply 19 litres divided by what you use each day. At 4 litres a day, a bottle lasts about 4 to 5 days. At 2 litres a day it lasts a little over 9 days. The same maths works for any household: take your daily litres and divide 19 by it.

At these volumes most homes fit regular supply at Rs 195 per bottle or the monthly advance plan at Rs 177, where you pay for the month in advance. A 5 person home using 10 bottles a month would pay Rs 1,950 on regular supply or Rs 1,770 on the monthly plan, before the refundable deposit. The weekly offer at Rs 170 is for households taking 10 or more bottles a week. See weekly vs monthly delivery for how to decide.
